Plans, trials, seats, and billing
Compare drawDB Pro Solo and Team capabilities, manage Paddle billing, understand team seats, cancel a subscription, and recover expired access.
drawDB separates personal cloud features from team collaboration. Current prices and entitlements are loaded dynamically, so use the pricing page and Settings → Billing for account-specific details.

Feature availability follows the live plan
Plan features can change independently of this documentation. The pricing page and the plan summary in your account are authoritative for a purchase decision.
Start a plan or trial
Choose a plan from Pricing and sign in when prompted. New paid-plan signups may enter a trial before checkout. The exact trial period is shown in the product for the current offer.
Team-plan onboarding asks you to name a team workspace. Team pricing is displayed per user.
Complete checkout
Checkout is embedded through Paddle and uses the signed-in account email. After payment, drawDB waits for the billing confirmation before enabling the plan.
Activation usually completes automatically. If the success page remains on Activating your plan…:
- Wait for the full activation check.
- Refresh the account or reopen the editor.
- Check Settings → Billing.
- Contact support if the plan still has not appeared.
Avoid submitting a second payment while the first activation is still pending.
Open Billing
Select your avatar, choose Manage account, and open Billing.
Billing shows the current plan, trial or renewal state, included features, and subscriptions attached to workspaces you administer. Because subscriptions are workspace-scoped, only an Admin of the plan-owning workspace can manage that subscription.
Team seats
Pro Team is billed per active seat. Adding or removing an active member updates the Paddle subscription quantity and may cause an immediate prorated adjustment.
Manage seats from Settings → Teams. Before removing someone, confirm whether their integrations or responsibilities need to be transferred. The last Admin cannot be removed or demoted.
Cancel a subscription
An eligible Admin can open a subscription's action menu and choose Cancel subscription. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing period rather than immediately.
- Pro access continues through the displayed end date.
- Billing marks the subscription as ending.
- At period end, the workspace returns to its non-Pro state unless it is resubscribed.
Use Resubscribe before the end date to retain uninterrupted access.
When a trial or plan ends
Cloud diagrams are retained rather than deleted. The workspace becomes read-only for Pro write features:
- Existing accessible diagrams can still be opened.
- Schema edits and cloud writes are disabled.
- Sharing changes, AI, new API keys, and live editing are unavailable.
- Existing API keys can still be listed and revoked, but the read-only schema API requires active cloud entitlement.
- Upgrading restores writable Pro features without recreating the diagrams.
Billing limitations
The current Settings UI does not provide invoice history, payment-method editing, arbitrary plan switching, or a general customer-portal link. Contact drawDB support when a billing task is not offered in Settings → Billing.
